Aunt Rae

Everyone should have an Aunt Rae.  I think I have said that before on this blog, but it is true.  She is so loving, so patient and so attentive to her nephews.  She explains everything to Shortstop with his constant "why" questions and lets him tell her all the stories he wants.  She is Mark's older sister but is only a year older than me and from day one she and I have been good friends.  We just talk non stop, Mark, me and her, whenever we are together.
This weekend she flew in from San Francisco to meet Fullback and play with Shortstop.  And boy do they love her!  We were so grateful she could come.  She is very busy and has a wedding (yay!) in July but still took the time to visit and we thank Thomas, her fiance, for being ok with her leaving for a couple of days.
We had a relaxing and normal weekend eating food, shopping for little boy shoes, playing Jeopardy, and watching Groundhog day.  She and Mark discussed career opportunities and she is going to help him by being a bit of a head hunter just cause she is like that. :)

 I think he likes her. :)
