Piano recital

Shortstop had his first piano recital and it was too cute for me to even handle!  I am trying to be more present at things and not be behind my phone so I totally spaced getting a video of his song.  He did Jolly Old Saint Nicholas and played it with the teacher.  He loves piano and although we are going to quit with this teacher, we are going to sign him up soon with someone else once we get an actual piano and not just a keyboard.  He was pretty proud of himself and loved being able to introduce himself and his song.  Man this kid is so grown up!

We always have to take silly pictures now

And Fullback wanted "his own" picture showing his support for his brother

Snow day!

We have not had a very snowy winter so when we woke up to snow one day in December and the kids asked to play in it, I knew I had to let them just in case we didn't have many more.  And I am so glad I did!  They had a blast, especially teaching ACE about eating snow, throwing snowballs and being crazy!  She thought it was pretty great and stayed out there longer than I expected.  Thankfully she didn't mind her brothers' hand-me-down snow clothes.  At least her gloves were pink!

"Just lick it like this baby girl..."

She looks so lonely and sad but really had a great day

How did I get so lucky!?

"Say cheese!"

Thanksgiving

I love being able to go home for Thanksgiving.  From the way my mom makes the holiday weekend so special, to hanging out with my sisters, to having cousins EVERYWHERE for my kids to play with to eating amazing food, it is all awesome.  This year my niece who was at BYU was able to come too and it was super fun!
The first night we were there, the weather was incredible so we took a walk along the newly formed walking path by the canyon and saw my nephew's Eagle Project.  He made an entire plaque to commemorate the jump Evil Knievel performed over the snake river.  It was so impressive to see all the hard work and time he spent on it.

We spent our time relaxing, shopping, eating, going to movies and just being together. One night my parents watched all the grandkids so the couples, and my niece, could go out to dinner.  Love these times with my siblings.  I am glad I got to go home this year cause next Thanksgiving my parents will probably be on a mission which I can't even think about right now.  I am so glad they will go but will miss them sooooo much!  It was an interesting weekend cause no one knew I was pregnant so I had to hide my fatigue and sickness from everyone but I did a fairly good job at that!
I always get my kids new clothes for actual Thanksgiving day cause I love any excuse to dress them up.  And so far, the kids love getting and wearing new outfits.
So well behaved

Attitude!

I love Thanksgiving...it is one of my top three holidays.  I have so much to be thankful for and every day I am reminded how good my life is. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday weekend as well.

These twinners are just too much!  They are six months apart and so far, get along really really well!  BFFs in the making
